SCC @ KIT

The SCC is the computing center for the KIT. It combines groups for the operation of the IT infrastructure of KIT with research groups on HPC fields, such as scientific computing, big data, or machine learning. The Tier-2 cluster HoreKa is also managed by the SCC. The project is steered by the Scientific Computing & Mathematics (SCM) division, which also takes a major role in the development services. The SCM members working on this project are Jasmin Hörter, Marcel KochGlen Hunter and Tim Schrader. Additionally, the Scientific Computing & Simulation (SCS) division provides teaching material on Research Software Engineering topics. The responsible SCS member is René Caspart.

SSC @ Heidelberg University

The SSC provides resources on research software engineering for researchers at Heidelberg University. They already offer software development as a service, although limited to researchers from Heidelberg University. Due to their expertise, they take a major role in the offering of development services. The SSC is presented by Dominic Kempf, Inga Ulusoy, Kai Riedmiller, and Thomas Isensee. You can find out more about them on their profile.
